About Us
Borshadupur is more than a publishing house. It is a literary movement shaped by decades of heritage, cultural responsibility, and creative courage.
Alongside its sister imprint, Student Ways, Borshadupur has been part of the same publishing legacy operating continuously since 1950.
Borshadupur founded in 2010 by Mohammad Masfiqullah Tonmoy, a third-generation publisher and cultural ambassador, Borshadupur stands as a bridge between generations. Its identity is rooted in the poetic imagery of rain-soaked villages and the restless energy of youth, championing bold voices, bilingual storytelling, and narratives infused with history yet alive in the present.
From Dhaka to Frankfurt, titles from Borshadupur have sparked meaningful conversations across continents, connecting heritage with innovation and local stories with a global audience.
We believe literature should be fearless, inclusive, and transformative. That belief drives our commitment to emerging writers, underrepresented perspectives, and books that challenge, inspire, and endure.
Borshadupur is where tradition meets rebellion.
